Leaving the clubrooms at 8:30am on Monday morning 27 August and returning Sunday 2 September.
All arrangements for the Rally at the end of August are now finalized.
The trip away will cover a multitude of venues that will appeal to our motoring petrol heads and to our nature loving members, with a bit of everything else in between. Please make plans to come. There is still time to book in. We would like to see at least 50 members attending this rally.
Our good friends at the Mount Gambier Veteran and Vintage Car Club have arranged a great day of activities for both of our Clubs to enjoy. With local knowledge being the key factor and a lunch thrown in, our day is bound to be a pleasant and memorable experience. By the way I am keeping that day’s activities a secret. All will be revealed on the day.
All members attending – don’t forget to pass $120 to Ted. This being your per person contribution to the entry fees for the different venues we will visit. In addition the VVCC is chipping in $1000 as a contribution to the cost of our entry fees.
Mount Gambier is one of our favourite destinations It’s a great place to have our base camp. It is a twenty five minute drive to the open beach or a fifteen minute drive to the bush. Other breath taking locations are a one hour drive away. Locals are always happy to have a quick chat and give out directions. Something that us Bendigo mob won’t be accustomed to is the green scenery. Mount Gambier is situated in “The Green Triangle”. Don’t forget to pack the warm clothes, a beanie and a scarf.
Any member thinking of attending call Colin on 0414 664 261 for more information. All our newer members are also very welcome to attend. It’s a great way to get to know your fellow club members.
Nicole and Colin Butler.
